Road Trippin'

Last weekend we went for a final Road Trip in Ronda The Road Trip Wonder. North Devon was our destination, but due to an overturned lorry on the M4 it took us 5 hours to get to Biristol. So instead we stopped over at Adam's house, a mate of Tom's from university days. Thanks Adam! Then on Saturday we continued onto Woolacombe, where the wind was blowing furiously. The surf was very messy, and I didn't enjoy it much, though it was good to stretch my arms. A heavy scwal of sharp rain caught Leah and me unawares and the wind tried to take our surf boards away, but we bared it out and survived the session! I didn't even make it past the break!

air polution

This cool film shows the airplanes flying over the USA in a day. It's pretty bonkers. I really wonder what's going to happen over the next 50 years as oil runs out. Obviously there'll be more wars as the west tries to control and own the worlds oil supplies, but that wont matter when there's none left anyway....it's going to be an interesting story.

oh dear, nuclear.

The great nuclear hypocrasy continues across the globe. Why is so much money invested in killing each other? Anyway, I just thought I'd have a little look at who has the bombs, this is from Wikipedia:
Countries with Nuclear Bombs:
  1. USA
  2. Russia
  3. UK
  4. France
  5. Peoples Republic of China
  6. India
  7. Pakistan
  8. North Korea
Hurray. I feel very safe.

in the blood

Sir Joseph Bazalgette lived just round the corner from where I live now! The English Heritage site says:
BAZALGETTE, Sir Joseph William (1819-1891),
Civil Engineer, lived here.
17 Hamilton Terrace, St John's Wood, NW8
Westminster 1974
There's a blue plaque there, I'm going to get a photo to show off!

little stampead

These are two members of little stampead, who invited us to come play with them at St Werburgs last weekend. The sound in the place was a bit like a cave, but it was fun! Posted by Picasa
